Sheriff Leon Lott is committed to preparing the Department and community for threats of all levels and has assigned deputies, to the Operations Division.
The Operations Division is comprised of several units. Each unit is composed of highly skilled and specially trained deputies who work to prevent and handle diverse challenges that face our Communities.
Commanded by Deputy Chief Harry Polis Jr., the Operations Division strives to maintain the highest level of readiness in order to combat any threat to our neighborhoods, businesses, churches and schools.
The Operations Division (Special Response Team, K9 Unit, Fugitive Task Force, Explosive Ordinance Disposal (Bomb Team), Snipers, Crisis Management Team, Homeland Security, Marine Patrol, Dive Team, Fleet Operations, Information Technology, and Records Division) are committed to enriching community trust through high standards of excellence and who have a passion for serving ALL of our citizens.
