News Release: Stabbing at 1700 block of Decker Blvd

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred on February 22, 2026, at the 1700 block of Decker Boulevard.
On February 22, just after 2:00am, deputies responded to the 1700 block of Decker Boulevard in reference to an assault that just occurred. Upon arrival, deputies located two victims, both suffering from stab wounds. Law enforcement on scene rendered aid until EMS arrived. Both victims were transported to a local hospital; both were conscious and alert at the time they were transported.
The suspect(s) fled prior to deputies’ arrival. Investigators are still working to determine exactly what led to the assault.
