News Release: Man Charged After Exposing Himself in Store

Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of Nicholas Lopez (32; DOB: 03/14/94) after exposing his genitals inside of a store.
On July 18, 2026, at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to the Hair Depot on Decker Blvd in reference to a suspicious person engaging in lewd activity. Deputies learned that the suspect entered the business and began to start a conversation with a woman before exposing himself and rubbing his genitals on her. The victim alerted store employees and law enforcement was called. The suspect fled prior to law enforcement’s arrival.
The suspect was located a short time later on the 7200 block of Hunt Club Rd. He was positively identified through surveillance footage of the incident. He was identified as Lopez and placed under arrest. Lopez was charged with Indecent Exposure and Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree. He was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where he is still detained on a $2500 surety bond.
