Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of Pamela Schronce (30), in connection to a scam regarding the purchase of boutique items.

RCSD investigators received a report that a victim purchased several items from Schronce’s Thomas & Turner Boutique, totaling of over $200, that were never provided to her.  The victim tried several times to reach out to Schronce to have the issue resolved and Schronce failed to return any communication or refunds.

Pamela Schronce has been arrested and charged by several agencies around the state for this same scam.

RCSD investigators arrested Schronce on 2/19/2026, when she turned herself in at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.  She was booked into the jail and has been charged with Obtaining Goods Under False Pretenses.

Schronce was given a cash surety bond of $2125.  However, regardless of the bond setting, Pamela Schronce will remain jailed due to a detention hold by another agency pending warrants for similar charges.

If you believe that you have been in business with Schronce and are a victim of a similar incident, please contact RCSD at 803-576-3000
