The Sheriff’s Department would like to notify all citizens that the parking lot of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Headquarters (5623 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29223) is being repaved and will be under construction beginning Friday, September 23, 2011 starting at 4:00 PM.

· Citizens wishing to apply for non-ferrous metal permits should be aware that, due to the construction, this service was moved Friday September 16, 2011 to our Region 2 Headquarters located at 7201 Two Notch Road/Columbia Place Mall (near the food court).

The repaving project will be phased, over the course of four weeks, and we can expect inconveniences associated with any construction project. Citizens are asked to please be mindful at all times of the hazards, as you enter and exit the parking lot, as well as when you walk to and from your vehicle. Also, we are asking citizens to take extra care and caution driving near the main headquarters.
