Update 09/22/2011:  Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott regrets to inform you that the 13th annual "All Comers Track Meet" has been postponed.

Sheriff Lott has postponed the “All Comers Track Meet” to a future date that will be announced soon. The Sheriff added that as much as we were all looking forward to the fun and excitement of this wonderful event, it was in the best interest of the participants to cancel due to the inclement weather.

We will announce the new date very soon.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott invites the community to the 13th annual "All Comers Track Meet" - September 23, 2011.

On Friday September 23, 2011 the Richland County Sheriff's Department and the Lower Richland Community Leaders hold this event each year in an effort to enhance the athletic talents and sportsmanship of the adolescents in Southeast Richland County. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that there are track and field activities for all ages. Participants as young as two years of age can participate and there is no maximum age limit. Sheriff Leon Lott encourages all citizens to participate in this great event which is held at Lower Richland High School (2615 Lower Richland Boulevard, Hopkins) and is totally FREE.

The "All Comers Track Meet" is an event created to bring the Sheriff's Department and citizens together; to build unity between the citizens and the department. This is an opportunity for our youth to become aware and educated about crime prevention and to learn how important being involved in your community really is.

Every child that participates in an activity receives school supplies. Deputies and the Community will be giving away for FREE bicycles, cell phones, watches, kick scooters, skate boards, and gift certificates for participates. Food and drinks will be provided at no cost. Pre-Registration starts at 4:30 PM and ends at 6:00 Pm with track events starting at 6:00 PM.
