Sheriff Leon Lott is inviting the community to tee up for a good cause.

Richland County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Ryan is a single father who has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer. Sheriff Leon Lott is happy to announce that Deputy Ryan's doctors say he is now in a remission; but the mounting medical bills remain. Deputy Ryan's Sheriff's Department family is asking for your help to ease the financial burden.

The Deputy Mark Ryan Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday October 10, 2011 at The Golf Club of South Carolina (Crickentree). There will be a shotgun start at 9:30 AM. The event will also feature a silent auction, live entertainment, food and prizes

The cost is $300.00 per team. You can also sponsor a hole for $250.00. All proceeds benefit Deputy Ryan and his family.
