Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the arrest of Pierre Rodriquez Griffin Sr. (DOB 9-27-75) who was wanted for failure to pay court ordered child support in arrearage of $21,889.16. Sheriff Lott stated that Griffin has been on the run for over a year and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Griffin today at 1117 Owens Road, Lot 22, without incident. Griffin was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Sheriff Lott states the real victim in these types of crimes are children who suffer and go without because they do not receive the support they deserve through court ordered child support.
