Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the arrest of four burglary suspects involved in victimizing citizens in Lower Richland Community.S ince early September, several homes have been burglarized in the Lower Richland Community. Investigators have been developing leads and potential suspects in an effort to capture those responsible. Sheriff Lott states that some homes in Lower Richland County have been burglarized on more than one occasion and as investigators gathered clues, they determined that several of the burglaries in Lower Richland County were committed by the same suspects.Sheriff Lott is pleased to announce that Richland County investigators have linked four suspects to this burglary trend and with the assistance of the Richland County Sheriff's Department Fugitive Task Force, Agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and United States Marshals Service have arrested on Tuesday October 13, 2009: Tyrone Robinson (D.O.B. 11-4-91), Anthony L. Williams (D.O.B. 1-17-92), Billy A. Robinson (D.O.B. 12-2-90) and a fifteen-year-old male juvenile (the four were transported to the Alvin S. Glen Detention Center and booked on multiple charges: Williams and T. Robinson are charged with multiple counts of burglary and grand larceny. B. Robinson and the fifteen-year-old juvenile were charged with receiving stolen goods) Sheriff Lott states that the group stole computers, televisions, fax machines, jewelry, gaming systems, clothes, and firearms. Investigators recognized the group's trend through their mode of entry into the homes (kicking in the front or the rear doors of the residents) which aided in their apprehension. W hile investigators work on the probability of additional charges for these four suspects related to other burglaries, the Sheriff’s Department is diligently working to determine if there are other suspects breaking into other homes in the area.
