RCSD seeks suspects for larceny

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted for larceny.

Sheriff Leon Lott states that just after 3:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 7838 Garners Ferry Road (Bi-Lo), Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report that a victim’s purse was snatched from her shopping cart.

Sheriff Leon Lott states that as one suspect stole the victim’s purse another suspect was acting as the lookout; with video surveillance equipment capturing both suspects in the store. Suspect number one is described as a black male, medium complexion, with an afro and sideburns, approximately 25 years of age, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Suspect number two is described as a black male, approximately 16 years of age, wearing a purple shirt, with a small afro.
