Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying three suspects wanted for strong armed robbery. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 12:15 PM Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded a robbery at 111 Clemson Road (Gaz-Bah - Exxon). Sheriff Leon Lott stated that three suspects (Still images can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/RCSDInvestigates please reference release number 1111-1116 on the right hand side) entered the business and stole money from the desk in the office. The victim stated that one of the suspects shoved her out of the way as they stole the money – the suspects then all left in a 2010-2011 silver 4 door vehicle possibly a Nissan Maxima or Altima (make, model, and tag unknown) with Florida tags. Sheriff Leon Lott states that two of the suspects (one female one male) enter the front, while one (male) entered the rear in an effort to find money or ladies handbags. The same three suspects attempted this technique, only moments earlier, at the Circle K (90 Clemson Road) but were unsuccessful. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that investigators are working with Lexington County Sheriff’s Department on these cases as this same crew has committed multiple robberies in Lexington County as well.
