Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for the communities assistance in identifying the man who robbed the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 175 Forum Drive in Northeast Richland County. On November 18, 2009 a white male wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a ski cap and glasses (seen in surveillance photographs below) entered the Walgreens around 7:30 PM. The man presented a note to the pharmacist and demanded prescription drugs. The victims believed the man to be armed during the robbery and the man fled the scene with several prescription narcotics. Sheriff Lott is asking that anyone with information on the identity of the man responsible for this robbery or the location of the stolen narcotics should call, email or text your anonymous tip to: 1-888-crimesc, www.sccrimestoppers.com or, “TIPSC plus your message” to CRIMES (274637).
