RCSD Seeks suspects wanted for burglaries and attempted sexual assault

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for three Burglaries and attempted Sexual Assaults.

At 6:40 PM on Friday, August 13, 2010 Richland County Sheriff’s Deputy’s responded to a home invasion at 1520 Saint Andrews Road, Saint Andrews Point Apartments.

The victim states that she awoke to find the suspect standing over her bed with a knife in his hand - - the victim states that he threatened her with bodily harm if she did not obey his commands for a sexual act; victim states the suspect was startled by the alarm clock going off and fled the scene. The victim describes the suspect as a black male, wearing a black shirt (his shirt was pulled up covering his face), blue jeans, and wore socks on his hands.

At 5:45 AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home invasion at 1520 Saint Andrews Road, Saint Andrews Point Apartments.

The victim states she woke up to find a black male standing over her with a knife. The victim states the suspect threatened bodily harm if she did not comply with his demands to commit a sexual act. The victim states the suspect was a black male, approximately 5’ 9”, wearing white long sleeve gloves, dark shirt, dark pants, and a white bandanna over his face, she states he was possibly in his late teens or early 20’s.

At 5:15 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011 Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home invasion at 1520 Saint Andrews Road, Saint Andrews Point Apartments. 

The victim states she was awakened by the suspect standing over her bed with a knife. The suspect cut the victim in the upper body causing non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the residence. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing a blue bandanna over his face.

Sheriff Lott wants this man behind bars. Citizens should be vigilant and if you see anything suspicious you should call 911 immediately.
