Sheriff Leon Lott would like to thank Sparkle Car Wash for partnering with the Sheriff’s Department to raise $2200 on Saturday March 1 for the American Heart Association. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that deputies washed cars, and sold items from the American Heart Association, in an effort to support this worthy organization and cause. Sheriff Leon Lott thanked all citizens who brought their cars out on Saturday and who made donations for the American Heart Association.

Release date:  02/29/2008   Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today that the Sheriff’s Department will be teaming up with Sparkle Car Wash, located at 8601 Two Notch Road, on Saturday March 1, 2008 from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM -- Sheriff Leon Lott stated that deputies will assist the employees of Sparkle Car Wash in bringing awareness to and show support of the American Heart Association. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that deputies will be washing cars, and selling items from the American Heart Association, in an effort to support this worthy organization and cause.  Sheriff Leon Lott encourages all citizens to bring their cars out on Saturday and asks that the media assist in publicizing this event.
