Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspects wanted for destructive/damage/vandalism of property. On Sunday, June 26, 2011 at approximately 4:30 AM at 7333 Parklane Road (Mr. Suds Carwash) the suspects broke into the vaults located inside each wash bay (these are the coin receptors to purchase a car wash). The suspects were caught on surveillance video equipment. The victim states that the subjects vandalized the bill acceptors causing $2,500.00 worth of damage to the property. Sheriff Lott is asking for assistance in identifying the suspects involved. Investigators believe the suspects were driving a dark colored pick up truck. Sheriff Lott says these individuals are a menace to society and need to be stopped before they do anymore damage to property in our community. Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspects (photos below) should call, email or text your anonymous tip to Crimestoppers at 1-888-crimesc, or text “TIPSC plus your message” to CRIMES (274637). Your tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1000.
