Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for an unidentified witness to come forward who may have seen something on the night of Friday, June 3, 2011 just after 12:30 AM in the area of 10008 Two Notch Road. Sheriff Lott states that he is a white male, in his 40’s, dark colored hair, stocky build, and driving a 4-door silver in color vehicle (he was a customer at the time of the shooting in the Wendy’s restaurant drive through). Sheriff Lott is asking that anyone who may have been in the vicinity and seen anything connected to this incident to please come forward -- your tip will remain anonymous, you can call, email or text your tip to Crimestoppers at 1-800-CRIMESC. Sheriff Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) wanted for Murder. At 12:36 AM Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1008 Two Notch Road (Papa John’s Pizza, Northeast Columbia) the victim was found shot to death in his vehicle. Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shots fired call and upon arrival discovered the 34 year old victim in his car with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
