Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in indentifying the suspect wanted for theft from motor vehicle. Sheriff Lott stated that on Sunday, January 8, 2012 between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM Deputies responded to two thefts motor vehicles at 7500 Parklane Road (Richland County Tennis Complex) and met with the victims: · Victim 1 stated that she returned to her vehicle a 2006 Honda CR-V, and found the back window shattered, the tail light broken, and a 6-pack of Antinori wine stolen valued at $96.00. · Victim 2 stated that she returned to her vehicle, a 2007 Hyundai Subaru Santa Fe and found the drivers side window shattered. The suspect stole the following items totaling $1, 880.00:
The suspect vehicle, a dark colored Toyota Tundra with a fiberglass bed cover, was captured on video surveillance equipment leaving the area (video images can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/RCSDInvestigates please reference release number 0112-1150 on the right hand side).
