Sheriff Leon Lott states that the Richland County Sheriff’s Department will co-sponsor a Spaghetti Dinner (a fresh salad, garlic bread and iced tea) on Saturday March 5, 2011 at 6708 Two Notch Road, Dentsville Baptist Church (Fellowship Hall) from noon to 4 PM. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association. Sheriff Lott states The American Heart Association’s mission is "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke" -- Sheriff Lott is an avid supporter of their mission, mandating that deputies receive yearly physicals, pass physical fitness assessment tests and encourages healthier lifestyles. Deputies at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department helped raise money and awareness last year for the American Heart Association. Sheriff Lott encourages all citizens to support the American Heart Association through the upcoming Spaghetti Dinner -- tickets are on sale for $6.00 and can be purchased at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Headquarters located at 5623 Two Notch Road or the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Region Two Substation located at 7201 Two Notch Road inside of Columbia Place Mall.
