Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of Pierre Goodson (DOB: 01/17/88) of 4927 Rugby Road, Columbia, SC for armed robbery in connection with the killing of K-9 Fargo on Friday, December 15, 2011.

Goodson was originally considered as one of the two victims of the armed robbery, but further investigation revealed that Goodson and Maurice Anton McCreary (arrested 12/16/11) conspired to commit the robbery. At 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 Goodson turned himself in with his attorney at the Richland County Sheriff's Department Headquarters. The investigation into this case revealed that Goodson and McCreary communicated and planned the robbery. Goodson is being held on a $200,000.00 cash bond at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Sheriff Lott states that Maurice Anton McCreary's (DOB: 12/25/89) charges have been amended as such; unlawful killing of a police dog, six counts of attempted murder, and armed robbery.
