Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for check fraud.

Sheriff Leon Lott states that at 9:40 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2011 at 5420 Forest Drive (Wal-Mart) the suspect walked into the business and used a stolen check to purchase merchandise amounting to $309.19.

Sheriff Leon Lott states that the suspect was captured on video surveillance equipment making purchases with the stolen check.
