RCSD seeks burglary suspect

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for multiple burglaries.

At approximately 4:30 AM Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 1945 Decker Boulevard (Rivera’s Food’s) deputies responded to a burglary call. Upon arrival deputies noticed the suspect had broken through front glass door to gain entry. Surveillance equipment captures the suspect breaking the glass and entering the business.

The same suspect continued breaking into businesses in the area during this same time period; the suspect forced entry into Boost Mobile located within the same strip mall. The suspect stole money, and twenty to thirty cell phones valued at $180.00 each.

At 9:45 PM Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2205-H Decker Boulevard (Oriental International Market) Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary call. Upon investigation deputies found the entrance door had been shattered. Surveillance equipment captured the suspect breaking the glass and entering the business.

At 7:30 PM Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 6525 Two Notch Road (Club Sunset Place) Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary call. Upon investigation TV’s, multiple bottles of alcohol, and a video recording system was stolen from the premises.

At approximately 5:18 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2230-G (Liberty Income Tax) deputies responded to a vandalism/burglary call. Upon arrival deputies noticed a section of glass in front of the business that had been smashed and a candy machine stolen.

Somewhere between 5:30 PM Monday July 25, 2011 and 7:30 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 2500 Decker Boulevard (Decker Mall) deputies responded to a vandalism call. Upon arrival deputies met with the victim who stated that during the night an unknown suspect smashed out the glass door of the strip mall.

Somewhere between 9:30 PM Wednesday July 20, 2011 and 8:30 AM Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 1735 Decker Boulevard (Sante Fe Mexican Grill) deputies responded to a burglary call. Upon arrival deputies met with the victim who stated that during the night an unknown suspect smashed out the glass door and stole a box of candy, and damaged property inside the business.

Somewhere between 9:00 PM Thursday June 30, 2011 and 8:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2011 at 1808 Decker Boulevard (Pet and Prim Parlor) deputies responded to a burglary call. Upon arrival deputies met with the victim who stated that during the night an unknown suspect stole money, dog shampoo, dog spray, Andis dog clippers, clipper blades, dog collars, dog treats, and a DVD player.
