Update 08/09/2011: Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced the arrest of Donquell Washington (DOB: 08/22/90) Burglary and Grand Larceny. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force along with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrested Washington 1:00 PM on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 2244 Manse Road, Columbia. Sheriff Lott stated that Washington was an accomplice who committed burglaries along with Dantwan Wilson who was arrested July 20, 2011 for committing 40 home burglaries in the City of Columbia, Forest Acres, and Richland County. Investigators were able to develop a lead in the city burglary that occurred in April due to concerned citizens -- this investigation is ongoing and additional charges for Washington are possible. Washington was arrested and transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in locating Kayce Donquell Washington (DOB: 08/22/90) he may be in the Eau Claire/Ridgewood area as he has ties there. Washington is wanted for Burglary and Grand Larceny. Washington is one of the accomplices who committed burglaries along with Dantwan Wilson the suspect responsible for 40 home burglaries in the City of Columbia, Forest Acres, and Richland County. Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigators were able to develop a lead in the city burglary that occurred in April due to concerned citizens. The suspect vehicle was identified and spotted in the incident area. Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a traffic stop which information obtained led to the search for Washington. This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are forthcoming. Sheriff Lott stated that Washington stole TV’s, jewelry, electronic devices, and cash. Sheriff Lott added that Washington committed burglaries along with Wilson.
