Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the arrest of Marvin Luther Myers (DOB 5-10-80) and Jaqwuaa Quantis Mack (DOB 10-29-89) for Trafficking Marijuana. Narcotics Agents received information that Myers and Mack were going to receive a large quantity of marijuana through the US Post Office Branch at 4840 Trenholm Road on August 12, 2009. Agents responded and witnessed Myers and Mack loading a large quantity of marijuana into a 2008 Nissan Altima. Agents immediately arrested the pair and seized a total of 37 pounds of marijuana and $1291 in cash. Myers and Mack were transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention. Sheriff Lott added that citizen involvement in making our communities safer continues to lead to arrests of those who commit crimes.
