Sheriff Leon Lott stated that on April 17, 2008 at 2501 Decker Boulevard (Sunset Point) two suspects entered the store and at gunpoint robbed the store of money. One suspect pointed a hand gun at one of the clerks while the second suspect assaulted the other clerk by hitting him in the face with his fist. Uniform and K9 deputies responded to the robbery and immediately tracked and captured both suspects. The stolen money was recovered.

Sheriff Lott stated that the immediate response of the deputies resulted in the capture of both suspects who are being charged with Armed Robbery and two counts of kidnapping.

Arrested:

• Warren Omo Amadasun (DOB 2-3-84)

• Jhamori Loveon Smith (DOB 8-7-91) – charged as an adult.

Both were transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center for a bond hearing late last night.
