Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott was inducted into the Seabee Veterans of America on Monday April 14, 2008 at 7:00 PM. Commander Patrick Tribbey stated that the induction is the first of its kind for their organization. Commander Tribbey stated that based on Sheriff Lott’s dedication, service to our country and his loyalty to the citizens of Richland County and the State of South Carolina, he was inducted as an Associate Member – membership is usually restricted to those with prior Naval service.
