Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the arrest of two men in connection with an early morning burglary that occurred at 481 Town Centre Place. Sheriff Lott stated that around 2:00 AM a Richland County K9 Deputy witnessed a Ford Explorer with its lights out leaving the shopping complex. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle – the vehicle fled and after a short pursuit the suspects wrecked the car into a guard rail at I20 and Clemson Road where two suspects {Driver: Michael Davenport (DOB 11-15-61) and Front Passenger: Rahim Almulk (DOB 8-21-60)} were both arrested. Sheriff Lott stated that both suspects have been charged with burglary 2nd, possession of burglary tools and possession of a stolen motor vehicle and that the 50 designer shirts that were stolen from Joseph Banks were recovered.
