Women’s self defense course


The Richland County Sheriff’s Department offers a women’s self defense course free of charge to the public. 

This is a crime prevention program that utilizes techniques that are specifically designed for women to reduce the likelihood of victimization.

This program empowers women to recognize their strengths and make sound decisions when faced with potentially dangerous situations.

Teen Self defense class 15-19 years of age  

Time: 10:00am - 1:30pm

Location: Polo Rd. Recreation Center

RSVP: guardian must call Ms. Diana 446-8605
Females 14 years of age must attend with mother or female guardian

Time: 9:30am - 1:30pm
