It is illegal to distribute or possess synthetic drugs such as k2 spice, bath salts, etc.

If there are questions, get an answer from narcotics or forensic lab.

Volunteers save countless personnel hours, bring new skills and ideas to the department, and they provide invaluable service to us and the department.  I would like to reemphasize how important volunteers are.

We currently have over 279 volunteers signed up with the department and over half of these volunteers are not being utilized.  The volunteers that are not being utilized are offering to provide services such as: data entry, calling victims, filing, assisting in events, etc.

The volunteers are very eager to help in any way they can and it is imperative that as a department we utilize their services.

Thank you and if you can include a volunteer in your unit/division please contact our volunteer coordinator Anita Stevens at (803) 576-1467 or via e-mail astevens@rcsd.net
