Due to the increase of civilians coming to the Sheriff's Department to be fingerprinted for various non-law enforcement reasons, it has become necessary to revise our procedures. Effective January 1, 2009 members of the laboratory will be available to fingerprint civilians from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Mondays and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesdays. There is a fee of $10.00 for each person fingerprinted in order to cover our cost. This fee must be paid in cash.
Effective September 2010, we will only roll fingerprint cards for the following:
Fingerprinting for any State-mandated reason must be done at L-1 Identity Solutions, located in Columbia at 5000 Thurmond Mall, suite 357, which is near the intersection of Elmwood and Huger Streets.
