Senior Deputy Dale
Salmond begin his career in law enforcement in 1989. He became one
of Richland County's finest in 1999 he has held several position within
the Department to include Corporal, Investigator and Civil Process. He has
received several commendations and is presently enrolled at Phoenix
University part time. He is the proud farther of two sons and one
daughter.

Senior Deputy Edison Naranjo is originally
from Venezuela South America and began his career in 1983 through 1992 as
a correctional and gangs task force law enforcement officer with the Dade
County Juvenile Correctional Facility, in Miami Florida. He transferred to
Richland County Sheriff's Department in August 2000. He has worked with
the Traffic Unit, Victim Advocate Unit, Spanish Translator for the
Department and now works with the Code Enforcement Division. He is also a
16 year veteran serving proudly with the Columbia Fire Department as a
Captain. He has received numerous commendations from the citizens of the

Deputy Joseph Kimberger
started
working for the Richland County Sheriff's Department in May 19th
2007. After graduating from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy
as a JSO, he served one year as the RCSD Paddy Wagon transport unit. Dep.
Kimberger was promoted to the Code Enforcement Unit July 20, 2009. Deputy
Kimberger is a highly motivated officer that loves his job and looks
forward to being a team player and a very productive member of the Code
Enforcement Unit.

Deputy Eric Boyer began his career with Richland County in Oct 2007 as Judicial Security Officer (JSO). Prior to that, he served as a police dispatcher for the University of South Carolina. Prior to that, he served honorably in the U.S. Army with well over 24 years of service and is a veteran of the “Desert Storm/Gulf War.” Besides being a member of Code Enforcement, he served as a member of the Deputy Advisory Council and is currently a member of the Department’s Honor Guard. In 2008, he attended Kaplan University and holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He is married to Linda and has three teenagers. He enjoys weightlifting and jogging in his free time. Deputy Cedric Roane graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1975. Shortly after graduating, he moved to South Carolina in 1977. Cedric was employed with the Richland County School District One as a Physical Education instructor, Health teacher and Coach. In later years, he became an officer with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Having a strong desire to further his law enforcement career, he joined the Richland County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Roane became a class three deputy in 2003 and was assigned to the Richland County Court House. In January of 2010, Deputy Roane transferred over to the Code Enforcement Division.
